Tywahneikai Bailey

Miss, Tywahneikai "Ty" Bailey is the owner and CEO of Baileys Beauty Salon, Beyond the Veil Hair Accessories, 3880 Essential Hair Care Line and Bailey’s Institute of Beauty, which opened September 14, 2021, located in Radcliff Kentucky. 

Ms. Bailey has been in the cosmetology industry for over 21 years. She has been a Master Licensed Cosmetologist for over 20 years and she has been a salon owner for over 10 years.  Through her commitment to further her education and training Ms. Bailey earned her Cosmetology Instructors Licenses in both Texas and Kentucky.  While working in Houston, Texas Ms. Bailey worked in an Aveda concept salon where color became her passion. This passion motivated her to once again continue her commitment to education and she became a certified color educator working with other color experts in Beauty expos throughout Texas, Florida and Georgia.  Ms. Bailey earned her Level 1 and 2 Cinema Secrets Certified Wig Makers Certification under the tutelage of legendary cinematic wig makers Charles Gregory and Bob Kretchner. 

Always up for new challenges and adventures in the beauty industry Tywahneikai participated in a “cut party” where she met her mentor Mr. Terrence Davison. That introduction led her to soon became a member of The Legion of Glam. This  diverse and dynamic group of beauty experts from all over the United States have  become like a family while motivating and encouraging each other to push their creativity beyond what they thought possible. Members of The Legion of Glam  have sought out her talents and she has assisted them in making fantasy hair pieces for Bronner Brothers Hair Battles in 2017-2019. 

Ms. Bailey has worked in the entertainment industry doing fantasy hair for Missy Elliott’s video "I'm Better" and for Tamar Braxton’s Great Escape Tour. She has also been called on to bring her styling talents to the actors on the set of the stage play Redemption of a Dogg, starring Snoop Dogg.  

Tywahneikai is a firm believer that education and the quest to learn new skills are the keys to her success. She loves sharing what she has learned in all her life experiences to help build others.
